About me
I am a proud graduate of University of Arizona (Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education). I began my teaching career at Round Valley High School in 1999 as the agriculture teacher/advisor. After making the move to the East Valley, I took over the agriculture department at Hamilton High School where I taught agriculture and was the FFA advisor for 8 years. During that time, I earned my 1st Masters of Education in Secondary Education. In an effort to diversify my teaching experience, I decided to teach middle school science at JO Combs Middle School. I taught 6th grade science for 2 years and this is my 2nd year teaching 8th grade science. I am currently pursuing my 2nd Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.
Family and Hobbies
I have two beautiful daughters (9 & 11) who live in Tucson with their mother.
I enjoy all things agricultural such as animals and plants. I enjoy team roping (even though I have not done it in years), gardening and landscaping. I find solace in my drawing and painting.
I travel extensively and have found myself in many beautiful locations from Alberta Canada, Jamaica, and most recently Costa Rica. I also travel around the country and help many friends with their ranches.
