Greetings!

Welcome to the world of Mrs. Besich.  If you spent some time in my classroom, you would notice that I love books, I am a Sun Devil (because I'm from the valley), and "music makes me lose control." (I couldn't resist adding that lyric...) 

The last two years have brought many changes to my life.  I was married in June of 2008 and graduated a few months later from ASU (go Devils!) in December with a BA in Secondary Education-English emphasis.  I have been teaching at Combs ever since.

My sparks for English were ignited during my years at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe.  My Junior English teacher, Mrs. Centanni, stood on a desk to read us a poem.  It was at that moment that I knew I wanted to teach English.  I have yet to stand on a desk to read a poem to my class (I'm saving that one for the right moment), but I try to share my passion and enthusiasm for the English language and it's literature just as my teacher shared with me.
