Welcome to 8th Grade Language Arts at Combs Middle School.  I cannot wait to start on our great educational journey together.  You should check this website frequently as it will help you throughout this course.  This year you will learn how to expand your reading and writing skill and will learn how to think critically about books, ideas, and the world.  Please feel free to look around the website and familiarize yourself with the items therein.   

8th Advanced Language

Welcome to 8th Grade Advanced Language Arts at Combs Middle School.  You were selected for this class because of your high reading and writing ability.  This course is designed to challenge and frustrate you thus allowing you to learn at the height of your potential.   This year you will learn how to expand your reading and writing skill and will learn how to think critically about books, ideas, and the world.  You will work hard and will be challenged.  Please feel free to look around the website and familiarize yourself with the items therein.
