Welcome to my classroom Website!!!

The purpose of this website is to give the parents tools in gaining a better insight to their child’s academic progress.  This website will grow in information as time progresses.  For the time being, the parents will have access to a Subjects-Taught Timeline, Course Rules, Policies, and Procedures; assignments due for the week, your child’s current grade, and a biography of the teacher.   In my opinion, parents have the greatest influence on a child’s academic progress, and this website should have a positive impact on your child’s grade in my classroom.  My philosophy for 8th grade is also that students need to be responsible for their grade.  They have constant access to their grade score so they need to know it and to find out on their own time from the teacher how to improve it.  Please call or email me anytime if you have questions or concerns about your childs progress.  I will respond within 24 hours.  I truly hope this helps.
